LORD KRISHNA " THE MAKHAN CHOR"

Celebrated Janamashtami. Children came dressed as Krishna and Radha.Narrated to them the story of Lord Krishna's birth in jail. How he used to steal butter from villagers along with his friends and hence called "MAKHAN CHOR". A ritual of Dahi handi being celebrated in many parts of India. His fondness for Radha and her Sakhis called Gopis. Taught the little ones that Lord Krishna himself says in Gita" Whenever Dharma declines and Adharma takes over, I incarnate to re-establish Dharma and to vanish the evil". Every word written in Gita gives us inspiration to fight against injustice.

 

Raksha Bandhan "The Thread of Love"

Celebrated Raksha Bandhan in school. It was a pleasure to see little kids participating in the event. Taught them the importance of "The Thread of Love" and "The Bond of Protection" between brother and sister. Narrated to them how Rabinder nath Tagore popularized Rakhi utsav to create unity and harmony in the society. Posting pictures.

Independence Day celebration

Celebrated Independence day with great pomp and show. It was nice to see the little ones in Patriotic coloured clothes with national flag in their tiny hands. Taught them the significance of the colours and the wheel in the national flag. Principal ma'am Ms. Rita Khosla unfurled the national flag. Every body sang the patriotic songs and National Anthem. Very charging atmosphere was there in the school premises. Loading some pictures of the event.

A NOTE FOR WORKING COUPLES

Came to know that many working couples are not able to contact as they are coming after school hours. Humble request to all of them to visit the school premises on all the working days i.e from Monday to Friday between 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. KIDS PLANET SUMMER CAMP

Had a very successful summer camp. Kids enjoyed a lot. Competition was held on 22nd June 2013 for all the activities. Prize distribution and cultural evening was held on 23rd June 2013. All the children participated in group and solo dance, ramp walk, fancy dress competition etc. Pasting some photos
