HAPPY TEACHERS’ Day!

Dear Mom& Dad

Today, I celebrated Teachers’ Day in my school. My teacher told me that Teachers’ Day is held on September 5th of every year on the birthday of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan , one of our former Presidents who himself was a great teacher.

Dr. Radhakrishnan believed that the teachers are the real makers of the future citizens of India. A good teacher teaches  us discipline, morality and manners. The lessons learnt from the teachers remain with their students throughout their lives. On this occasion, awards at National, State and District levels are given to the best teachers.

It is sad that the teacher- student relationship has deteriorated. Instead of being modest, the students at present have become malicious. They have no love for learning and no respect for teachers. Some money minded teachers have also contaminated the atmosphere of teaching.

In our school , we observed the Teachers’ Day by offering flower to our teachers. The Principal ma’am and teachers wished all of us the very best in our lives.

Yours’ loved one
